Planning Task Force

Presents Recommendation Plan for District Future

The Otter Valley Unified Union (OVUU) Planning Task Force presented a recommended path forward to the OVUU board last night during a public meeting. The recommendations included immediate action items and is essentially a road map for future district planning. The plan and action items presented were developed over a year and a half of work that included a deep dive into district data, identifying and discussing triggers for change and soliciting community input in a variety of formats (survey, focus group, working group).

“I couldn’t be more proud of our very dedicated Planning Task Force, which consisted of both community members and OVUU Board Members working together to see this project through to the end,” said Jeanne Collins, Superintendent of RNESU. “The Planning Task Force was formed by the OVUU Board to develop a plan that will help drive our district forward, yet one that is flexible enough to navigate changes our district will likely face – such as the declining population in Vermont.”

The Planning Task Force presented the following action items to the OVUU Board.
